I have been thinking about what I’d do on mother’s day
I think about mothers, grandmothers, mothers, and women
I think about myself and my duties
I think about wombs and how a woman grows a child
Yet In all these, I think about you
How I grew up with you
How we survived with you
I follow your ways, O Mother of Jesus
Thank you for taking care of us.
Mama Mary, pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death
